Nicki Minaj
Onika Tanya Maraj (born December 8[3][4]), known by her stage name Nicki Minaj (pron.: /mɪˈnɑːʒ/), is a Trinidadian-born American rapper, singer-songwriter, voice actress and television personality. She was born in Saint James, Trinidad and Tobago. When she was five years old, she moved to the New York City borough of Queens. Minaj trained as an actress before she released three mixtapes between 2007 and 2009 and signed to Young Money Entertainment.
Minaj's debut studio album, Pink Friday (2010), peaked at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200 and was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) a month after its release.[5][6] She became the first female solo artist to have seven singles on the Billboard Hot 100 at the same time.[7] Her seventh single, "Super Bass" has been certified quadruple-platinum by the RIAA, and has sold more than four million copies, becoming one of the best-selling singles in the United States. Minaj's second album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded (2012), topped charts internationally, also spawning the top 10 singles "Starships" and "Pound the Alarm". The album became one of the best-selling albums of 2012, according to the Nielsen SoundScan, selling one million copies worldwide,[8] as well as "Starships" becoming one of the best-selling singles of that year.[9] Later in the year, she embarked on two worldwide tours, the Pink Friday Tour and the Pink Friday: Reloaded Tour, and reissued the album as Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded – The Re-Up. Minaj has tentatively announced plans for a third studio album to be released in 2013.[10]
Minaj's artistry features fast-paced rapping, alter egos and accents, notably British cockney. Her outlandish and colorful costumes, wigs and clothing have given her recognition as a fashion icon.[11] She featured as a voice actress in Ice Age 4: Continental Drift, is currently serving as a judge on American Idol and has endorsed Adidas, MAC Cosmetics, and Pepsi. Minaj's work has earned her six BET Awards, four American Music Awards, two MTV Music Awards, an EMA and Billboard's 2011 Rising Star. She is the first female artist included on MTV's Annual Hottest MC List, with The New York Times suggesting that some consider her "the most influential female rapper of all time."[12] The Source named Minaj the Woman Of The Year for 2012.[13]

Peter Gene Hernandez (born October 8, 1985), known by his stage name Bruno Mars, is an American singer-songwriter and record producer. Raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, by a family of musicians, Mars began making music at a young age and performed in various musical venues in his hometown throughout his childhood. He graduated from high school and then moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue a musical career. Mars produced songs for other artists, joining production team The Smeezingtons.
Mars had an unsuccessful stint with Motown Records, but then signed with Atlantic Records in 2009. He became recognized as a solo artist after lending his vocals and co-writing the hooks for the songs "Nothin' on You" by B.o.B, and "Billionaire" by Travie McCoy. The Wanted Move To Hollywood For 'Fly-On-The-Wall' Reality Show
The Wanted are ready to bring their brand of fun-loving boy-band antics to the small screen later this year.
The guys confirmed on Wednesday (February 6) that have just signed a deal with E! for their own reality show, set to air this June, tentatively titled, "The Wanted Life." Max George called into Ryan Seacrest's radio show the same day the deal was announced to open up about the program.
"We're moving into Hollywood into a big house. We're not actually too sure where yet... for a certain period of time doing a bit of filming, bit of fly on the wall. I feel so sorry for [the neighbors], apologies now if it is you! We're all really excited about it," he shared, noting that while some of the guys may maintain their homebase, he and Jay McGuiness might not always be easy to find.
He added, "Normally it's me and Jay spend quite a lot of time outside of our own home for whatever reason, so I think me and Jay will be doing a lot of staying elsewhere... Mattress surfing?" he laughed.
The party-loving fivesome are all mostly of age to party here in the states, except Nathan Sykes, but George isn't too worried about it. "Listen, he'll be fine," he said. "We will sort it out."
While filming has yet to begin, manager Scooter Braun confirmed that some of the show has already been shot. "i have seen the pilot episode... trust me...get ready to love these guys and die laughing. @TheWanted on E! coming VERY SOON!" he tweeted about the forthcoming series, with producer Seacrest adding, "We're gonna put @TheWanted in a house here in LA for a couple months w/ every faith they'll behave themselves. #TheWantedOnE."
The Wanted are the latest musical act to get a show on the network. Jonas Brother Kevin ("Married To Jonas") and The Saturdays ("Chasing The Saturdays") already have programs on E!, which tracks their personal and professional lives. The Wanted's show comes just as they prepare to launch the next chapter of their career.
They will drop their new single, "All Time Low," on Wednesday, before releasing a brand-new track sometime this summer. "We've gone a little kind of back in time for us anyway, a song that people might be familiar with. We've done a little bit of a twist on it. We've never released it in the U.S.," he said. "It's a good band song."
In addition to chatting about the series, George also addressed about some lingering gossip. First up, he shared that the feud between The Wanted and One Direction is over. "No... it was alright. We didn't seem them in the end, but everything's ok," he said. "There's been no backlash from them since so I think we're all ok."
And, George says while he hasn't spoken to Lindsay Lohan in a while, they are still pals. He said, "Yeah, we're still friends. I think she's busy at the moment so I've not spoke to her for a bit."
So, that means, even with reality cameras following him around, he won't be shy when it comes to dating in La La Land. "I'm not that picky when it comes to Hollywood girls," he said. "There's something special about them."

Mariah Carey Bringing Great And Powerful Voice To 'Oz' Soundtrack
Mariah Carey has a great and powerful voice on "American Idol," and now she's bringing it to the merry old land of Oz.
MC has been recruited to record a song for the soundtrack to "Oz the Great and Powerful." Titled "Almost Home," it is due out February 19, with famed fashion photographer David LaChapelle on board to shoot the video, Billboard reports.
Carey co-wrote and co-produced the track with the production team Stargate. Other co-writers include Simone Porter, Justin Gray and Lindsey Ray.
What Does Bryan-Michael Cox Think Of Mariah Carey's Upcoming Album?
The clip for the track will debut March 8, the opening day for the film starring James Franco, Michelle Williams, Mila Kunis and Rachel Weisz. LaChapelle has worked with the pop icon in the past on album art and her music video for 2001's "Loverboy" off her "Glitter" soundtrack.
In addition to "Almost Home" and her stint as a judge on "American Idol," Carey is also slated to drop new music of her own this spring. Last August she teased fans about what that studio release might sound like with "Triumphant,"a single featuring Meek Mill and Rick Ross.
Carey first promised fans that a new record is on the way last summer. And producer Bryan-Michael Cox explained to MTV News that album plans have been long in the works.
"She was committed to making it before she got pregnant. Then she got pregnant and she took the time off," he said last August. "Then after she came back, we started really vibing again and we picked up right where we left off. I just feel like between Jermaine [Dupri], myself and her, we came up with a few things that [are] really, really a solid body of work."
